I've worked in education for more than 30 years - in alternative, private, and public schools - in addition to private tutoring. I am trained in Orton-Gillingham (OG) methodology and multisensory or multi-modality education for literacy and mathematics. I have experience with many learning and behavioral challenges including dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, ADHD, ASD, and ID. In addition to teaching children, I also train and consult with teachers in structured literacy and hands-on math. I present learning videos on YouTube and present on foundational reading and technology in webinars. I believe that all students should be given what they need to reach their potential. I know that success breeds success! As students are often more successful in a reduced-stress environment, I incorporate many engaging activities and games into my instruction.
