I've worked in education for more than 30 years - in alternative, private, and public schools - in addition to private tutoring. I am trained in Orton-Gillingham (OG) methodology and multisensory or multi-modality education for literacy and mathematics. How to Play Multiplication Solitare Math gr 3+

1) Recall/shuffle the cards

2) Deal 

3) Play any top card in any stack to the multiplication board with the requirement that the played  card must touch a product already on the board (any blue square) either horizontally or vertically.  That means that for the first plays, you can play only play a 2x or 9x product.  Once a piece is played, you can then play another piece that touches a side going vertically or horizontally (not a point going diagonally)4) Choose wisely. Some factors may go in two different spaces (36 could be 9x4 or 6x6).

5) The objective is to play all the pieces.  Then try to beat your time!
