I've worked in education for more than 30 years - in alternative, private, and public schools - in addition to private tutoring. I am trained in Orton-Gillingham (OG) methodology and multisensory or multi-modality education for literacy and mathematics. I have experience with many learning and behavioral challenges including dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, ADHD, ASD, and ID. In addition to teaching children, I also train and consult with teachers in structured literacy and hands-on math. I present learning videos on YouTube and present on foundational reading and technology in webinars. I believe that all students should be given what they need to reach their potential. I know that success breeds success! As students are often more successful in a reduced-stress environment, I incorporate many engaging activities and games into my instruction. How to Play AR and OR words game board - Phonics Gr K-3

One each player's turn, read a "new card" correctly and then roll the dice.  Player moves that number of spaces.  

If you land on another player, that player moves back 3 spaces.

To win: You must land exactly on the finish.  

Be careful, it's tricky!  You may be waiting on the last space and if a player lands on you, you will end up going back ten spaces!  You never know who will win!

There are several color pieces to choose from, but fewer players means less down time and more review!  I recommend  2 players per game.
