Renal Resilience Game is a dynamic, virtual board game for 2, 3, or 4 players that lets them review renal diseases in a fun way with their colleagues. Prepare your strategies, test your conceptual knowledge, and may the best competitor prevail!
🛠️ Step 1: Creating and Joining a Room
If you are the host:
- Click on "Start Game" (at the top of the screen).
- Copy the Room Code that appears in the upper left corner.
- Click "Enter" to open the board.
- Share the code with your peers so they can join the same match.
If you are a Guest:
- Enter the code the host sent to connect.
🎲 Step 2: Initial Setup
Once all players are connected to the room:
- Turn Order: Decide together who will be the first, second, third, and fourth to play.
- Choosing Tokens: Each student chooses a color and places their token on the "Start" space for that color.
🕹️ Step 3: How to Play (Turn Flow)
On your turn, your gameplay is divided into three phases:
1. The Scientific ChallengE
- Draw the Card: Click the "Draw a Card" button to get either a question card or an "Action Card." Action cards can be positive or negative, moving your token forward or backward 1 to 3 spaces on the board.
- Answer: Read the statement aloud to the group and state the correct alternative.
- Check: Click the "Answer" button to reveal the correct answer key.
2. The Consequence
Depending on your answer, follow the instructions in the table below:
🟢 If you got it RIGHT
🔴 If you got it WRONG
1. Click the die again to see how many spaces you will move.
2. Advance your token along the track.
4. Pass the turn.
1. You do not roll the movement die.
2. Your token stays exactly where it is.
3. Pass the turn immediately to the next player.
🏆 End of the Game and New Match
- Victory: The game ends as soon as the first token reaches the final space on the track. Whoever gets there first is the grand winner!
- Play Again: To clear the board and start a brand-new game, any player can click the "Reset" button.
